Question:
Hello Code Experts,
Seems like the NEC has many, many outdated rules. How does one go about sending proposed changes to the Code to address identified needs or removing rules that no longer apply today?

Hello Anonymous and thanks for the question. Seems there are many participating in this forum that could use the same information. The NFPA is the publisher of the NEC, they are also the ANSI-accredited standards developer for the NEC. The link provided here will take you to the Website where information related to the NEC development can be found. https://www.nfpa.org Just select Codes and Standards and then scroll to NFPA 70 to find relative information. Participation in this process is always highly encouraged. Thanks for triggering this information and response.
