Question:
Greetings and thank you for this service! Question regarding the grounding electrode conductor with an EMT sleeve for protection. Under Section 250.64(E), it refers to bonding at enclosure and end of raceway... Would there be any exception if 1. the conductor is insulated or 2. the protective sleeve is not physically connected to the main panel enclosure. ?

Hello Rick, and thank you for the question. Section 250.64(E) does not provide an exception for either of the conditions described in your question. Bonding is required on each end of the ferrous metal raceway.
