Hello, Code Question of the Day,

Is it needed to install ceiling occupancy sensors in a barbershop, or is a timer switch in compliance with FBC C405?

Hi Manuel,

Thanks for participating. It looks like your question is related to what a local electrical code may require to meet the energy Code rules in that area. You refer to FBC 405, which could mean Florida Building Code 405…just a guess. Check with the local authority having jurisdiction for the performance requirements in the applicable energy code. The NEC contains the prescriptive installation requirements for such installations and equipment. I hope this is helpful.
