Question:
Hi Charlie, what are your thoughts on residential grade devices installed at other than a dwelling? Another example: A Home Version load center at a commercial installation? Let's say 110.10, 110.28, etc have been met. I think the answer might lie in 110.3 and it's about researching all components.
Thanks for your great forum!

Answer:
Hey Norm thanks for your question and the compliment. I substituted A Home Version for the specific manufacturer. In certain situations, the NEC specifies a grade of product such as "hospital grade" as stated in 517.18(B). In general receptacles must be listed as stated in 406.3(A) - but no specific grade is given. Similarly, panelboards (loadcenters) do not have a specific grade requirement in Article 408.
You are correct, researching the manufactures information, following any instructions for listed equipment and using equipment as intended by the manufacturer are important.
