Hey Tammy thanks for sharing that great resource. The Model Aquatic Health Code does not apply to pools or hot tubs/spas in people’s homes or backyards. It also might not be adopted in your area but does have a lot of valuable information including lighting in 4.6.1.

The MAHC is a free, science-based resource to improve health and safety in Public swimming pools, Pools and hot tubs/spas in hotels, apartment complexes, and neighborhoods, Waterparks
