Question:
Max number of outlets per circuit in kitchen
Roy White
A
Answer:
Hey Roy thanks for your question, we get this one periodically. Receptacle outlets in dwelling unit kitchens are required to be installed as stated in the applicable portions of 210.52. The small appliance branch circuits required by 210.52(B) must be supplied by at least two 20 ampere small appliance branch circuits as stated in 210.11(C). There is no maximum number of receptacle outlets for these circuits because they are intended to be sufficient for the typical loads. Adding additional receptacle outlets will not likely increase the load but could provide additional ones that are more conveniently located
