Question:
Can I use 2 1/2 inch sealtite to connect a new panel to the floor stub out? Conduit was installed at an angle in the concrete and rigid will not work. I will be pulling 4--2/0 and 1 #6 from the SES.

Answer:
Hey Rene thanks for your question. You didn't provide insulation types for the conductors but yes Liquidtight Flexible Metal Conduit (LFMC) can be used. The Informational Note to 300.17 refers us to 350.22 which refers us to Chapter 9, Table 1. Note 6 to Table 1 refers us to Tables 5 for conductors and Table 4 for the conduit. Using THHN insulation as an example 2/0 is 0.2223 sq. inches and 6 AWG is 0.0507 sq. inches so 4 -2/0 (0.8892) plus the 6 AWG (0.0507) = 0.9399 sq. inches. Table 4 (for Article 350) indicates that 1.953 sq. inches can be used for 2 1/2 LFMC in the over 2 wire column (40%).
