Hey Mark thanks for your question. No. Receptacle outlets must be installed where flexible cords with attachment plugs are used as stated in 210.50(B). Receptacles must be noninterchangeable so that attachment plugs with different ratings cannot be used. Except 20 ampere T-slot receptacles can be used for 15 ampere attachment plugs as stated in 406.8. Twenty ampere rated receptacles are only necessary for 20 ampere attachment plugs.
