Hey Bryant thanks for your comment. You are correct and it was likely the intent to supply the receptacle outlet required by 210.63 from that dwelling unit but the wording could be a little clearer. Don't forget that a receptacle outlet is also required at the front and back of dwelling units as stated in 210.52(E).
