Question:
Is there a code on how full of hardware an enclosure box can be?
Glenn Hays
A
Answer:
Hey Glenn thanks for your question. It is not clear specifically what you mean by hardware but boxes must be sized to provide free space for all enclosed conductor as stated in 314.16. The volumes of conductors, clamps, support fittings, devices and equipment must be added together to determine the minimum box size as stated in 314.16(B).
