Question:
Where in the NEC does it say you have to color phase current carrying conductors? This include feeders and branch circuits.
Dan Kurel
A
Answer:
Hey Dan thanks for your question. Feeders identification rules are in 215.12 and branch circuit identification rules are in 210.5. The use of color as a means of identification is one method allowed for ungrounded conductors but others such as tagging can also be used.
