Greetings CQD,
Thanks for this great NEC forum. On a farm property, does the Code allow using a bare copper equipment grounding conductors in a feeder conduit run underground to an additional building on the property. I had an inspector tell me that the EGC needs to be insulated. What is your opinion? Thanks.

Hello Dale and thanks for the comments.
Section 547.5(F) requires separate equipment grounding conductors installed underground to be copper and to be insulated. Remember, the AHJ has the interpretation and approval responsibility as provided in Section 90.4.
