Question:

Hi Charlie, I have followed this forum for years and it is a great resource. I just wanted to provide a little more information for a recent question in response to installing a 22/2 cable along with 10 AWG THHN conductors in an underground raceway. Am I correct in my thought that both the cable and conductors would have to be rated for a wet location? Thanks, Randy Anderson

Hi Randy, glad to hear you are enjoying the CQD and thanks for providing some additional clarification. You are correct, an underground raceway is considered a wet location in accordance with Section 300.5(B) and any cable or conductor installed in a wet location will have to comply with Section 310.10(C).
